I have had an Acer Aspire before, great machine. I'd also like to add how good dabs are. They really are a fecking excellent shop.

Can't agree with you on that one mate.

I've bought goods from Dabs.com in the past and providing the goods get delivered ok ther is no problem.
However, I ordered a spare hard drive and inadvertantly ordered a SATA drive instead of what fitted my pc. Simple enough mistake but no way on earth can you get them to reply to emails if its more than seven days (I think) after the purchase date.
Consequently I have a 200 GB SATA hard drive which is still boxed and has the same use to me as a bloody coffee coaster. £75 down the drain.[IMG][IMG]</img> [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    Dabs used to be great

When they had a customer service phone number. Because (unlike ebuyer) they answered the fecking thing.
However, they changed it so their support was entirely web-based and the service went down the toilet.

Come to that, I bought an Acer desktop machine for a friend which developed a fault. Acer were neither use nor **** all so I think the Dabs/Acer combination could be a double-whammy if it goes wrong.
