Might make me sound thick but I can't think of any other way of wording this question:
but you know that little pad thing you use your finger on for the mouse?
Well at the right hand side and at the bottom if you run your finger down or across it, it scrolls whatever page your on up or down. Well for some reason the scrolling function on it has stopped working, sometimes it has done it before but then just magically started workin again, but it's not been working for weeks and I want it to work because it was useful.

Anyone know if there's some settings I need to change or owt to get it to work again?

Search for a laptop nipple ... I don't know of any other names for it.

U'll need to make sure that the software for the touchpad is loaded on your pc, if not u should be able to get it from manufacturers website. If and when u've got it on the laptop it usually comes under the mouse settings in control panel, if not it's called touchpad. In here u should be able to program it.
