Laptop question.

    That's as fast as PSTN modems go. (the type you can use with a normal phoneline).

    Most folk don't use the 56K modems in their laptop these days. They either plug into a Broadband modem with a network or USB cable or use a wireless (WiFi) connection to a wireless modem/router.

    Make sense?

    I'm using a laptop now, connected via Broadband modem. Its just as fast as a normal PC, love.

    I'll just need one with wireless capability then.

    Now then, I can't get a picture on this telly in the kitchen. It just keeps going "ping."
