want a decent laptop and wondered if anyone had any links to any decent sites? money not really an option just want a decent one to play games/surf net etc and pref blue ray player?
Mac's have a different OS which is more secure and full of eye candy. The hardware is largely the same and expensive by comparison for the same spec. How about this for a Windows one?http://www.ebuyer.com/product/151290/Looks a lot of laptop for the money. My dealings with Acer support not exemplary (nor ebuyer's come to that) but as long as it doens't go wrong...EDIT - no bluetooth by the looks if that's important to you
I've got an Acer... Mine's the 5720 bought it just over a year ago. Only problem I've had is with the internet connection. Just started going on and off whenever it pleased. Quick download off the website sorted it though and I've not had any other problems. Till tomorrow when it locks up and never works again cos I've been bigging it up, yo.
I had an Acer... it was ****. I'll never buy another. Had the same issues with the internet thingy and the screen completely bombed out after about 13 months, just after the warranty expired.
Got a Phillips now. Its mint.

If money isnt really in the equation the Sony Vaio ones are really good I think this is the cheapest with blue ray £850 http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=333150&CatId=0 Otherwise Dell are pretty good value From about £500 once you add a blue ray http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/p...aptop-inspiron-1545?c=uk&cs=ukdhs1&l=en&s=dhs
