I've got different Acers for business and home and they're okay but the sound cards aren't great

Had a couple of HP laptops for work (reasonably heavy usage) and never had a problem. Very easy to upgrade too when i needed to.

I have a Fujitsu Amilo Pro, and it's a treat. It's the true portable one so very small screen and lightweight compared to the ones you're looking at, but build quality very good. Also easy to upgrade RAM even though it's a small footprint.

    I would certainly recommend Fujitsu.

Why put up with poor sound tho`

Asus are far better for practically same cost. acer , the keys kept falling off, kept crashing, but if you are happy with yours then thats what matters, not what has happened to someone elses .

    Agreed. Acer are ****.

Crappy build quality. Keys fall off very easily.
