Thinking of upgrading my talk talk land line so i get a free laptop. Does any body know anything about the Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Li 2727 or any other decent laptop that you could recommend at or below £300 Cheers Lee
i bought an hp from tesco was £359 now £339. good enough for what i need mate. but then i've got a tower as my main computer
RE: anybody???? nt Im about to list my amilo D 7830 for £150 on ebay (four years old, £649 i paid brand new). it needs a new battery (£20 on ebay) and a new mains adapter, also £20 quid on ebay. Fujitsu Seimens Amilo D7830 Laptop £150 This laptop is four years old and is in great condition. Below i have listed whats included and what additions you will have to buy. What you will/might need to buy The laptop Battery is depleted and the laptop only works whilst plugged into the mains. Batterys can be found on ebay starting at £20. The power lead is bodged up as you can see in the picture. My puppy chewed through the wire and i managed to get it working again, altough it works if you position it right, it looks dangerous and could do with someone abit more experienced than me to 'bodge it up'. I wasnt going to include this in the auction but once you have it you can do what you like with it. New power leads are available on ebay and they start from £20. Appearance Inside the screen is in great condition bearing no marks or scratch's and the cursor pad is not worn. There are wear marks where your hands rest but these are only slight. On the outside the top has light scratch's on as you would expect for a four year old machine Whats included The laptop (operates as new) with depleted battery and faulty power lead. I have just done a full system restore so from the moment you switch it on it will start a fresh. System restore cd (this is a back-up copy as it is the one i use for my PC) Drivers CD (you will only need this if you do a full system restore) original CD was damaged so iv downloaded these off Fujitsu Website and worked fine when i system restored for this sale. Office 2003 (This is a back-up copy from the original i got with laptop which is now damaged) Win DVD - original copy Nero Express 6 - original copy Whats not included I no longer have original box or instruction manual Virus Software Despite the faulty Mains adapter and depleted battery the system runs as new to its full potential and over four years i have never had any other problems with the system.
