    Does anyone know what they are building?

    Looks like a plant of some kind but can't see anything on the web as to what it is. Looks as tho it could provide a considerable number of jobs.

    The Eon sheme is part of it. We are also doing £50m work next door for YW

    to improve the sewage works (and water quality in the River Don)

    We are also building a sludge treatment and bio energy digestion scheme which are the large concrete tanks behind the Eon scheme. Although huge in its own right (im just approving drawings for a 27m high exhaust stack) the Eon scheme is overshaddowing us.

    Still £230m worth of work and large slices of it to local companies (Galglass at Wombwell are one of our major subcontractors)

    Its a Biomass Power station. The big A-Frame building you can see will be to store wood chippings, the taller building will house the boiler, turbine and generator, as well as all the cooling system out the back. We are tendering for some of the works.
