FFS Incredible some of the remarks on here right now.

 

You haven't seen the lack of performance today. We didn't create one decent chance and now haven't won in 4 games.

all runs come to an end eventually.. just unfortunate it was against a local rival. get summat strong down yer neck and look to the next game.

its not often we do see eye to eye... but Hells teeth .... and they say I over react at times... ONE chuffing game and suddenly we are conference bound... I like you find that an incredulous attitude from some on here tonight. I will say this though. It will be a good measure of Mr Johnsons talents to see how he gets the team to react for the next two games...being as they are against Real relegation contenders.... however teams really fighting to survive can be very, very dangerous.

Yes it was poor, but not the worst this season. I'm hoping we can stay in top 10 by season end then see how we shape up this squad for next season.

We havent won in four our last three games have been against sheff utd bristol and preston. Not a easy run we were poor but I have seen far worse this season and against lesser opposition. Bad day at office get over it. Colchester next

United were hard to judge, because we we never threatened them. They get full credit from me for the victory, but I'm not going to be one of those supporters who shrugs off a performance like that in a huge game, and just think "ah well". I've not got it in me. Means too much.

I'd have sooner gone at them, had shots, chances and a few bookings and red cards and a 4-0 defeat than what we got today. Which was nowt. Absolutely nowt, to a man.

I understand we can't win em all. I accept we were going to lose a game sooner or later. But it's not the defeat itself that bothered me so much, but the manner of it.

Suppose it shows the passion's still there. I was doubting that earlier in't season.


I've had a rant now. I'm not doing a blog. I'm going to get pissed and enjoy what's left of my weekend off, relax and in terms of BFC I'll regroup Monday and hope for a reaction. And a shot at the goals maybe.

This sums up the game perfectly. I didn't think I'd say this again this season but today was a huge disappointment, unacceptable and the players have let themselves and the fans down.

Yes but I expect that every single game, not just today. I do recognise though we have had a good run, far better than I expected after seeing our performances pre Christmas. I also realise that we aren't good enough for the play offs but will love another undefeated run to end of season. Sometimes you have to walk away thinking we weren't good enough.

 

Agreed. I don't mind losing if the effort was there today it never was. Don't think many of the extra fans of ours that turned up today will again on the back of that 'performance'

 

I don't think there was a lack of effort. Quality and cohesion we lacked, but not effort. Too easy to throw that at the players but I didn't see that.

 

Agree the effort was there but the creativity, movement and end product weren`t on show today, mix that with poor crossing and poor dead balls put into the box and we got what we deserved. Zilch.

 

Why do people always say lack of effort when you don,t play well it,s a load of toss I didn't,t see any lack of effort lack of cohesion yes.

 

Ok a real lack of attacking intent then. Made to look very very average today and we never posted a threat for Sheff Utd. Call it a anythjng you want but it was a lack of effort.
