ok BFC, i remember a game at chrlton
after 30 mins one team was winning5 0
i think it ended 6 5 but cant remember who won
i think there was a centre forward called Smith all the rage at that time might have been in the70,s

 

we hadnt won at southampton for 50+ years

the opening stat is correct, but you could have just said we have never won at Charlton

 

Anybody remember Lol Chappel I think it was scoring 4 against Charlton and finishing on the losing side.

 

We won there in 85 in the cup. Apart from that weve only played them there 3 times. Once at the Dell twice at St Marys.

 

Was thinking about previous meetings with them today. First time I saw us play at the Valley David Hirst made his debut, we lost 2-1 and he was brought down for our penalty. That was about 83 or 84.

Since then Ive seen us play them at Upton Park and Selhurst but cant remember many of those games as they were so flaming dull.
