    What do people want?

It's a young side, and there'll be poor displays mixed in with the good ones. But I'd sooner watch LeeJay's experimentation than a lumbering side hoofing it up to a slow, out of position O'Grady and making no progress. The best is yet to come with this squad.

    Nah then.

That's how I see it as well. I see lots of good things at Oakwell these days - young players with skill, energy and the potential to develop much more. Of course they make mistakes but that happens on any given Saturday in the Premier League as well. How often do you see defenders or midfielders slipping or tripping over the ball letting the attacker in, or misplacing a pass and letting the attacker in on goal?

Happens all the time from international level down to the lowest of the non-leagues. If people want a perfect performance for the whole of every game they need to start watching another sport. How about basketball, or swimming? They don't make many mistakes there do they? :)

Seriously though, it's not a bad time to be following BFC. It will get better and then it will get worse, and then better again. It's just how it is. All I want is to see a few goals and to be able to clap plenty of times during a game because I just saw something that pleased me. Can't see much wrong with that.

Agree with you both. It enjoys me that we have 'supporters' who boo this young side after a defeat. That attitude does not help their confidence.
