Last Night- first match ive been to since opening day vs Cardiff

Live in Northampton, so cant make it to many games! Anyway, i know what i say will echo what has been said on here recently but will post my thoughts anyway.

Firstly, i think credit to the workrate of the players, i thought we played some good attacking football and worked really hard.some good positive football was played but yes we badly lack some class upfront.

Defense: has to be more solid, i feel we need need more strength and height all over the park but especially at the back

Stick with Ritchie: this club has gone through so many managers the last 5 or 6 seasons and been crying out for some stability. I know things arent going great at the moment and i doubt ritchies tactical awareness at times but we have a reasonable side, the side we had when we last good relegated from this league e.g sheron and co was far worse than our current side.

as for signings,we dont need wholesale changes, just a striker and a defender with a bit of class. We are not getting thrashed every week just need a player to score a few more of the many chances we create!

 

Makes me wonder..........someone like Shipperley would have scored 12 goals for us so far
