We were home first leg, slight disadvantage I thought.
Huddersfield were poor, created little, and snatched a late winner through a mix up at our end. They wouldn't have scored otherwise last night while ever they had holes in their arses.
Now - on Monday, they are the ones with something to protect. And although it will be like coming out at half time one nil down, let's remember this half time is 90 minutes long, at least.
Hudds are there for the taking, we're hurt, we have the capability and the will to put right the mistakes of last night - and unlike Birmingham in 2000, we aren't coming out to hopelessly put a 4-0 drubbing right against what was a superb side for its day. (They beat is 2-1 in that game). We are 1-0 down against Hudds and we can do it.
I sincerely believe that Barnsley will be the surprise result on Monday night.
Yoo Reds!

Created little??? Hit the post, missed from a free header, had one cleared off the line, colgan great save (twice) and created numerous chances from corners and deadball situations..... Their strikers gave us lots of trouble, and defenders did at corners..... Lets not have the rose tinted specs on here, I was at the game and watched it on sky when I got back. We were very lucky to get away with a 0-1 and hope of turning it around in the next leg.
Yep. That's the game I went to. Couldn't believe those walking out claiming we were robbed and 'deserved a draw at least'.
Bossed us for 30 minutes, but we could have gone in 1-0 up had Dev showed a bit more composure.
Thought we were the better team 2nd half with chances at either end and then one mistake handed them the advantage.
All to play for.

Are you on drugs? They easily deserve a goal lead going into the second leg. (at least) Were you at the toilet when all those goal mouth scrabbles were taking place in our box? I've been gutted all morning, but for the first time this week i've realiesed were in the play-offs, ive been looking forward to the final for some reason and blanked the semi's out expecting us to coast through. I was always dreading our home game, i never expected a great lead, but iam just so glad its over. Roll on monday, Huddlesfield 1 nil up, they've scored after 10 seconds, roll yer sleaves up and get on with it lads. I'am more confident going into the second leg! (dunno)
Not how it came across on Sky, and certainly not how the pundits put it. I thought Huddersfield looked good on the deck, but very good in the air. There were people on here clammering for big buggers to be signed last summer, and yesterday backed that up for me. Get Nelson from Hartlepool in the summer.....
Looks like it - unless you get ya skinny little arse darn to Outpost and order us some seats on't bus! (fishin) (fishin) (fishin) (givinfinger) (givinfinger) (givinfinger) (kissmyass) (kissmyass) (kissmyass)
I would say the team definitely needs more 'presence' - physically and with someone to lead when things are going a bit awry.
Didn't tape the game but when I have done before then it's always looked a bit different to how I remembered it. Not downhearted at all. If we start as badly as we did last night at the Galpharm then it's bye bye. I've seen us play vastly better than that this season, however, big credit to Hudds for not allowing us to play.
Not with your post, but I get the feeling some on here get some sort of satisfaction when we come up short against teams - gives them the 'told you so' award.

I agree with you - a small minority of Barnsley are happy to say we won't go up, and would take more satisfaction from being right rather than us going up..... not me though.... I still think we can go there and get a goal more than them.
why would it be a suprise result we arnt 3-0 down from 1st leg and if we are to win it we need to score 1st in my opinion!
