One of the better games I have seen Barnsley involved in, and def a game of two halfs.

First half the team were outstanding. We were passing the ball around, making space for each other and pushing the pressure on Stoke. Great to see the team getting Campbell-Ryce involved whenever possible, he was giving the LB a run about.

Always knew second half that Stoke would come out stronger, and they did. Fair play to Barnsley though they rode it out, and a couple of first class saves from Muller.

    Special Mentions:

Muller - Great to see him claim the ball well from corners, a couple of punches under pressure and two outstanding saves.

Foster - For me, not put a foot wrong since he came to Barnsley. Looked good at RB, tried to get forward.

Werling - World class tackle in the second half, after Stoke had hit us on the break.

Campbell Ryce - Could be a very god signing. Always wanted the ball, and very lucky to be booked for chasing back and making a tackle.

Silva - Played it simple, got his foot in at times. Just a few occasions when he could have passed rather than attempting a shot.

Great to have two clean sheets. Feel we need to look at something other than Ferenczi, he didn't really do it for me. Also McCann, wasted on the left and that showed by us always going down the Right Wing. Lefts get another winger on and attack from both sides.

We showed last night that we don't have to sit back in games. We have the pace to attack teams.
