It was lovely at times, but those times were all too brief - about 60 seconds worth in total. Tininho looked excellent at left back and after Muller got injured I thought the back four did a reasonable job of shutting Colchester out. Our passing from midfield was woeful, Diego Leon excepted, who looked like a gem, but I remember saying that when Lumsden had his first game for us - need to see what he an do week in, week out. Macken was excellent, he chased back and was all over the pitch giving 100% throughout, great to see. Nads needs time, enough said.
And the decision not to field a reserve keeper is just stupid. Why put Coulson, Stan and Kayo on the bench? I just don't understand that.

nads needs time????????????????why, hasnt he played at this level before? didnt do anything our current strikers cant do last night.
He's not match fit is he? When was the last time he played 90 minutes? I'm not making excuses, just making an observation.
He hasn't played a full 90 minutes since 2nd December FFS. Anybody with half a brain cell could see he's not quite match fit yet. He needs games then his sharpness will come. So stop being such a bell end all the time denno, are you trying to say Nards is no better than Kayode, Stan, Mostto? if so you really don't have a clue.
I think it's pretty much guaranteed that if you only had half a brain cell, you'd be in a vegetative state and unlikely to see much at all. You'd need help to poo, never mind watch footy.
nardiello did more last night than mostto and objob has done all season. His movement was alot better finding space and making runs all night which is all you can ask for a striker if he aint getting the ball..thought he did well tbh and think the 2 up top will form a good partnership.
