last time i went to coventry was when we were in the premiership

the old ground ,remember it well strachan as their manager.
they had TEN MINUTES extra time,one of our players was shoved and went hurtling into the advertising boards right hand side of their goal early doors,they had a late iffy free kick scored from it.
Now its time for us to be "what comes around goes around"scenario.
because if Barnsley play like we know they can 3 points is achievable.and rewrite a unjust memory for me!

 

Didnt they get a very dodgy late penalty courtesy of a Dion Dublin dive? I could be wrong but I seem to remember something happening along those lines.

Yep, clear dive. Standard of referring was abysmal that season and sadly it was clearly biased against us in my view, which culminated in the Liverpool game.

 

I often say that was the day I stopped being a football fan and just became a Barnsley fan. I walked back to the car and talked to a Cov fan who accepted the ref threw it in their favour but that was ok because it was the same for them when they played the Man U and Liverpools of the world. Football's never been the same since for me.

 

I thought Dublin had been shot the way he went down .
