Davies and Bradshaw's inclusion got me thinking - last ones I could think of was Taggart and Fleming possibly
Weren't Mifsud and Bogdanovic both in the Malta squad together whilst at Oakwell. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Not quite the same thing, but the 2010 New Zealand world cup squad contained 4 ex reds players. Leo Bertos, Rory Fallon, Dave Mulligan and Jeremy Christie. It also contained Chris Wood who signed on loan for us shortly after. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
I'm on the rum now so I can't help but try and think of others. I'm almost certain that Odejayi and Jamil Adam were both called up to the Nigeria squad at the same time, although I think they called up a squad of about 52 players at the time and sent the majority (including Adam) home. Special K made his one and only appearance around that time too. Rum works wonders. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Ignore me, turns our Adam was called up to Ireland U21's at that time, and not the Nigerian first team. Rum is ****. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Not a unique situation but probably the highest ranked team to have two called up to, although that ranking system is a disgrace.
I alus got excited when Steve Lowndes & Gwyn Thomas got dually called up together. Heady days indeed.
I was at the game in Austria cheering them everytime they warmed up from the Austrian end! Strange looks for sure
In the Premier League days we had half the team called up Tinkler, Krizan, Hristov, Marcelle, Fjortoft, Markstedt, Barnard I think were all called up whilst at Barnsley and maybe Watson at U-21 level.
South Riding once did a brill front cover. A cartoon of Taggart, Tiler and Fleming all in international kits. Taggart looked like Desperate Dan. It was a beauty was that cover.
I'm working over in Dublin this week and the BBC NI news had footage of Taggart scoring for NI against Germany in the preview of last nights match.
