    I don't know. I believe the only other time we've won 6 since I've been watching was the 80-81 promotion season from this division, which we've just equalled. It's odd to compare the performances of Glavin, Banks, Aylott et al with the current side, who keep it tight and score from set pieces, but the results are the same, so who can argue.

    Be interested if anyone knows.

    I know that David Wood was tweeting last week that we went on a winning run of 8 games without conceding in 1955. Not sure what year you have to go back to for a run of 7 irrespective of clean sheets.

    i love all these stats. current players are making some history for club, its brilliant, i mean 1955 to even further back of 1891, showing how much football has changed. keep it up lads.

    Didn't we win first five games under Clarkie. Then lost at home to Torquay at home on Tuesday neet in front of 12k. At big useless black lad called Les Lawrence did the damage
