we've got a team of shorties. Opinions aside about how good/bad they are up front we have Schmidt, weak, timid, and weak. Thomas, small. Chaplin, small. Brown, ok-ish. Mowatt, ok-ish. Woodrow, ok-ish. The defence and Halme are ok size wise. How many headers do win up front.... none at all. Last year in our glory season we had bigger players, Mcgeehan, Moore, Pinnock, for example, and we competed well in the air. This time we've no chance. I'd like to know why, when the big lads left were they replaced with short arses. A few years ago we had tinies in the side and we were overrun game in, game out. We all know the saying, a good big un will always beat a good little un, so I really do hope that if the owners want to see us succeed then we can put aside this desire for shorties instead of biggies. The more I read this back to myself it looks and sounds inane and stupid but you get the drift.... don't you ?
Yes, you want a team full of giants. Have you thought about going the other way though? If we could sign players small enough to run through the opposition players' legs, might that not be a winning strategy?
