Davies wants to remember which side his breads buttered! Not scored in 3 games, hardly Lionel Messi quality. After an international call-up he's suddenly world class in his own head. Would still be laikin for Chesterfield wy no call-ups if we hadn't had a punt on him ffs!

Yeah Davies should remember he's had only one outstanding game for us this season. He's not scored more than one in any other game for us. He's going to end up living off that Birmingham performance at this rate.

Not sure that's how I would interpret what Hill said. More like contract negotiations are the job of The Don so it is out of his hands. I've heard nothing to suggest Davies is creating any problems. In fact they only thing I've heard is from Radio Sheff that he wants to stay

Absolutely - where's it suddenly appeared from that Davies has gone Billy Big B0ll0cks all of a sudden ? Or is it just in some people's heads ?

Is scoring a goal not good enough for us any more? Unless it's 2,3 or 4 goals in every game they may as well bugger off the useless bags of *****.

I would guess that his contract will be discussed now that he's back in the country and back training with us, all l've heard from the media is that he wants to sign a new one. Had he not had the emergency call up l reckon he would have signed one by now.

I never heard, or read an interview where Davies said he wanted to stay. I did hear him say he'd keep playing and everything else would take care of itself. Sumat like that.
However, if someone can show me an interview where he actually said he wants to sign a new deal, then I'd be very grateful.
I just hope Mido is fit for December 15th, after the amount of **** I read on PorkTalk about him.

Wasn't it from Rob Staton on twitter, something about having moved around clubs too much and was settled here?

I think he's been excellent this season

And can neither understand nor believe the criticism he's coming in for.

Yes, I heard the interview where he said he'd moved too much, and maybe that hadn't helped his career, and so he intimated that he'd want to stop here as the 'management' as I think he put it ahd been good for his career, as had working with the current bunch of players.

Nor me. He's been superb as far as I'm concerned.

I think it's because he's not laid prone on the Ponty End Carpark screaming 'let me sign a new lifetime contract' - so that -and with him being called up for Wales means he's set his sights on a premiership contract and has now got too big for his boots.

Ah, that old chestnut. I remember him saying that, but I also remember him saying when asked about a new contract, that he'll just concentrate on his game, and everything will take care of itself.
I hope he signs, but experience tells me he probably won't, or we won't pay what he asks for, ala Steele.

When specifically asked after the Brum game he said he had moved around too much and was both settled and happy at Oakwell....

That must be it. I mean playing for Wales automatically means you are the new Messi. Or summat.
