Polish club Wisla want Burns Barnsley boss Andy Ritchie has revealed that Polish champions Wisla Krakow are interested in signing Jacob Burns after his recent trial at the club, but he will not let the Australian leave on a free transfer. Burns was given permission to train with the club as he bids to make an impression ahead of the World Cup in the summer but Ritchie has admitted he is still not certain whether Burns will leave before the end of the season. Ritchie said: "They want to sign him but they'd have to come up with something like a good deal for ourselves. "We wanted to allow Jacob the chance to go over because if he's to play in the World Cup he needs to be playing at a level of the Championship or above so we were trying to be good to him. "But he's a good player and has done well for us and we'd like him for our run in. "To let him leave for nothing at this stage would be a bit remiss of us. The deal is not dead in the water though." exchange the word remiss for f.cking stupid.

what I meant was.... if Ritchie has spoken to them why hasn't Mr Knowles-oh wait a minute -I see my mistake !!
