I originally posted about a NCB claim made by my late grandfather and asked if anyone had had any dealings with Rayleys Solicitors in Barnsley.

Having heard nothing for over twelve months I rang them to be told "It will all be sorted very soon". When I explained that I had been told that over a year ago and would be contacting my local MP John Trickett for his office to chase up any progress Rayleys rang me back within hours so say that by some strange and magical coincidence someone had been in touch with them and an offer was on its way.

Today I received a phonecall from Tricketts office saying that an offer had been sent to rayleys in August 2006 for my family and they (the NCB solicitors) were still waiting for a reply from Rayleys.

    What a bloody disgrace!

I used Raleys for my house sale

Never ever again, sold and bought a house through them, one no chain and the other a new build. l had to chase everything up, even had a call saying my buyer had pulled out when they hadn't. Solicitor was Marie Jones wouldn't ever use her again! they took months (N)

I asked a Solicitor to write a letter to my bank..................

all I wanted to do was take my trading name off the account leaving it in my name.

The robbing Barstewards wanted £185+VAT for a job which would have taken less than 10 minutes

Its cheaper to close the account down and open another one.

    (wicked)
