We defended exceptionally well, except when it mattered............ Think that means you didn't defend exceptionally well at all Keefy
"I think we nullified the opposition, we knew what to expect." Is this what it's come to? Just nullifying the opposition? For god's sake Keith, this sounds so WEAK! Is that your principal aim in a match now, to nullify and frustrate? Have some courage, have a go at the opposition. If we do lose, at least we can say we had a go and tried to WIN! Nearing the end of my tether now, with the constant bleatings about lack of money, and now dull, safety-first tactics, which inevitably end in a defeat, albeit a narrow defeat, but still zero points. Keith, have a long think about the way things are rapidly deteriorating, and ACT! And not by continuing with your present course. Be bold, be more adventurous and enthuse the players with some attacking tactics.
Look at the way the team took the game to Leeds at Bellend Road, and by all accounts, look at how well we played at Charlton as well. If its clear that we will get better results by making the effort like this, then what on earth is Keef thinking of by sending us out with pathetic negative draw minded tactics.
And give a thought to appointing a new captain who might enthuse the others with his great workrate - Dawson.
For F***s sake Keith just go long ball........take a leaf out of the Blackwell school....everyone will be happy then
Would that be the same Cackwell who is now scraping Bury off the bottom of one of the lower leagues ? Yes he would be ace with us wouldnt he!!
