Ronnie Wallwork and Kyle Reid trained with the reds today.Barnsley are to sign Grant McGann from Cheltenham and Leon Knight. The Eghiogu deal may have fell through as he is having talks with Leeds. The club have tried again for Lucketti but his wage demands are two high.

I cant imagine that Lucketti would be on more than Egiogu

RE: we really need a CH

Unsworth would be ideal because he can operate at left back, which for me is more of a problem area than centre half. If Heckinbottom were good enough for this league he'd still be at Hillsbrough.

    If we can't afford Lucketti's wages ...........

....... we can't afford Unsworth's wages, cos he will be on more than Lucketti I would say, so although he would be ideal for us, I can't see it happening

    It might not be wages

it could be the length of deal he's after. its been widely reported he didnt want to come out on loan but wanted a permanent deal.

You can't make permanent deals at this time

If he doesn't want to go out on loan, why has Warnock put him up for loan?

Havent Derby signed Jones from Man United on loan

with a permanent deal already agreed? suspect Lucketti is wanting assurances in anything he signs that when Jan comes round, he's got some security.

They loan with an agreement to a permanent move when the

transfer deadline opens. Seem to remember that's how the Horse went to the Blunts, then Whinger decided he wanted to give back word on the permanent move but couldn't.
