Understand #Barnsleyfc did talk to #PNE about Neil Kilkenny but that appears a non starter at this stage.

Understand there's no truth to reports linking Barnet's Andy Yiadom with #Barnsleyfc . There has been interest in the past on two occaisions.

Hearing Reece Wabarra has opted not to take up a contract offer from #Barnsleyfc and is looking elsewhere. He's been linked to Wigan.

There's just never any positive news is there? It's brilliant being a Barnsley fan, so much to be excited about whether it be transfers or results.

The only signing that matters is John Stones to wherever

Why would the owner sanction a spending on a permanent signing when a) he's trying to sell the club and b) is dubious about the ability of the current manager to spot a good player from a turd.

Pray that Stones goes this window or we'll be going to the end of the season with what we've got bar the odd young un here for match experience.

So with your first point do you not think we will bring in anyone on a permanent basis this window? If not we're ****ed.

We're on a pretty decent run of form, Fletcher coming in seems exciting, Hammill only recently confirmed til the end of the season, Aidy White signed, we might be getting a trip to Wembley. There you go, I'd take any of that over lets be honest a relatively average player staying. Don't let that puncture that black cloud that follows you around mind

    Nope, no chance

owner wants to sell, if the JPT 2nd leg had been inside the window, maybe, but where else is money coming from given our current attendances etc? If he can get sufficient from the Stones sell on then he might walk, Im hoping he does so we can move on with the next chapter.

Stones won't go this window .......

However, can't see Everton keeping hold through the summer when the big boys really crank up the money.
Best guess is he'll leave back end of summer window meaning we'll have 2 more transfer windows scraping around for out of contract crocks or young loanees wanting game time.

We're on an average run of form that as we all know could flip at any point. Fletcher isn't our player which is mine and everyone elses point. I'll give you Hammill and White but again there just until the end of the season. But the league table, results and performances this season is enough to give anyone a black cloud. Don't let any of the doom and gloom burst that rainbow that follows you around mind.

We'll probably sign someone now just so he can prove you wrong.

If Johnson is here long term i pray that john stones goes nowhere for the time being. I dread to think what would happen with that money without a decent manager in charge.

Needs to walk away and quick.

The club are in a Rut and are sinking deeper every season.

Or just carry on as we are.

A bit like the Labour Party fading into oblivion

Kilkenny would have been useful. Yiadom is currently serving a three match suspension and Wabara is bang average. Can't say I'm too down to be honest.

Kilkenny is a good player but perhaps not what we need. I'd rather have James Bree be given a chance than us sign Yiadom. Wabara average no great loss either way.

I agree the thing that's annoying me is that even someone as you rightly state is 'bang average' we can't get him to sign. It doesn't say much about us at all. It seems to me that Kilkenny hasn't even entertained the idea of moving here. We miss the boat on so many transfers it's amazing.

You might think this is stupid/bizarre or whatever but when Andre Gray was at Hinckley banging all the goals in, in the conference north I knew he wasn't just a player scoring goals in a poor league against **** defenders, he was more than that. I actually (desperately in hindsight) tried to e-mail and get in touch with the club to let them know we could get him very cheaply and that he would go on to be a very good player. I think I added he will end up in the Premier League (not far away with Burnley and Swansea rumoured to be looking this window). We may of looked at him without me e-mailing which probably didn't get read. But like I said we do miss so, so many and the likes of Peterborough etc. Seem to tempt player after player and sell them on for millions.

Just wish we could sign our own players and be able to tempt some here because very soon it's going to get to a point where hardly anyone wants to come or we are second or third choice.

Maybe Harry White and Bradley Ash will be our Andre Gray and Jamie Vardy?

    We live in hope.
