Everyone has their own opinions but with 3 possible matches left to get into the Championship next season now is not the time to be negative. Collins has gone, we really do need to back our club for this last push. I hate praising the dee dars but it worked for them last season.
I'm pretty sure there were links on here to their forum in the run up to the play offs where they were wanting him out. Then during the playoffs there were reports of racial abuse and demands for him to go after failing to go up automatically.
OK, , I thought they'd put the criticism to one side for the home leg! Anyway, the point still stands, let's save the he's lazy, useless stuff until the end of the season!
What happened with Wednesday is unimportant. @Redhelen is right. We all need to park our views on players and simply encourage.
I know you are right Helen, but I’m struggling. In reality I just want this season to be over with, and I’m desperately hoping for a change in policy from those in charge going forward. I’ve decided to renew for next season but more in misplaced loyalty and habit than anything else.
Apparantly only 1 banned and that was for online racial abuse. Yet I seem to remember fans saying on radio Sheffield and a video or 2. It was rife at boro. Not as much at the sty but one or 2 isolated incidents.
I want Barnsley to win every game but when Northampton scored first thing I did was look at over scores. Part of me was hoping it was over to be honest.
It’s an interesting one. Over the years I’ve definitely seen a shift away from ‘the hairdryer’ treatment from managers, to a much softer approach. I sometimes wonder if things have gone too far the other way, where criticism is frowned upon. I’m no sports psychologist and people are motivated in different ways. But it makes me absolutely rage, when the team have been absolutely gash and no one will just come out and say it. Fine margins. Bad luck. Stick to the plan. Part and parcel. Cut out the mistakes. Dust ourselves down and go again. All the things we’ve heard repeatedly this season, after watching some of the worst football imaginable. Monotonous, scripted, bumf. From time to time I just want someone - a player, a coach, a manager - to come out and speak with passion, and just admit it’s $hite and needs to get better.
