Apparently the finish in Paris will be around 10pm. Different.

What a bizarre and disappointing end to the stage. Gutted for Cav - that was his big chance to wear yellow.

Orica Bus driver suspended after failing dope test. Seriously gutted for all the riders ...... nearly 200 miles of top class racing only to end in a farce like that. Enjoy the rest of the Tour Burgundy, I know I will - hooked ! !

Oh I will, thanks. I was really hoping to get over to Saint-Amand-Montrond for the end of stage 13 but I'm not sure I'll be able to make it. Failing that the start of stage 14 at Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule could be a possibility. I think I'd have to drug Mrs Burgundy Red to get away with going to both . . .

Google street view live on a bike, stunning scenery, regular aerial views of interesting places (with commentary) and no noise pollution (unlike Formula 1)

Going to wind down with the highlights 7-8pm ITV4 for the next few weeks. Bet the island of Corsica looked stunning.

was always a mountain biker til Feb this year when I got my first road bike (at 47 ! !) Love it and am really into the whole thing - instead of sulking and thinking "wish I'd done this when I was 20" I am actually thinking "lets enjoy it and see how I get on at 47" ! ! Have lost over a stone and a half and enjoyed the whole thing, feel fitter than I have in years. Even did my own "tour" last month ...... Paris to London over four days. Absolutely loved it and can't wait for the whole Yorkshire thing next year (though don't get me wrong, would love to see a stage or two in it's homeland too). Did the Hawes route a couple of weekends agao, including Fleet Moss and am doing a 40 miler in the Dales tomorrow morning. Just started the carb-loading now ! (beer).
    Enjoy mate.

That all sounds pretty energetic, Andy Mac. Perversely I've never actually liked cycling myself, I just got really into the tour a few years back and now I'm an avid viewer and I try to get to the odd stage when it comes near Burgundy. Maybe when I get to 47 in 4 years' time I'll have a similar epiphany.
