Interesting that we were 6 points behind with two games in hand.

We did win one of the games in hand, but Plymouth and Ipswich both got 36 points in 14 games. We were never catching that.

Not really. It's just that Ipswich and Plymouth were relentless. Bit of a freak season. They still got 26 points from their last 15 games. We got 24 from our last 14.

You don't think Wednesday bottled it after us? I can understand defending arsenal to an extent but there's literally none for Wednesday after their loss to us. Love hearing it.

No matter how good Ipswich and Plymouth were, Wednesday definitely bottled it.

They should’ve comfortably won promotion from that position with the fixtures they had after we turned them over. They couldn’t have hand picked a better set of fixtures and well and truly blew it.

    Was brilliant to see.

I know it's yet another dig at Wednesday thread, but if we don't get through the next two games we will be in the exact same rubbish league as them next season.

Or playing in the Championship next season, just like them, if we don't get through the next two games. League One is boring most of the time. It's horrible being stuck at this level.

Would have been interesting to see how things played out if we played Ipswich on the original date.

2 play off wins and a automatic promotion in recent history from this level. Over the same time frame we've had more horrible seasons at championship level. While I want us to be competitive at as higher level as possible I would hardly say league one is boring.
Some things are better some are worse.
