    I heard about this a few weeks ago and after listening to both I really thought the decision in court would go the other way.

    As a musician... no way is that plagiarism just a descending chromatic scale of 5 notes before the final chord which is different. Just because the accoustic guitar sounds similar there are hundreds of songs with similar chromatic scales.
