Lee Angol - Peterborough

    Peterborough have today signed the conferences south top scorer from last season, Lee Angol. Scored 25 goals in 39 games only 20 years old.

    If we are looking for up and coming players with resale value from lower leagues why are we not looking at players like this?

    Peterborough seem to bring on players like this quite often and sell them on with a profit, players like -
    Britt Assombalonga
    Lee Tomlin
    Dwight Gayle
    Craig Mackial-Smith
    Paul Taylor
    Aaron McClean

    I know some on here might say we don't want lower league players like this but BM keeps talking about players with resale value.

    Don't think we should keep going down the loan route each year as rather have players who are contracted to the club

    When Peterborough buy non-league players they go for the very best and pay big money. We seem to spend £50k on lads who never even play - it's such a bizarre policy.

    Theres a Barnet striker what we should get, John Akinde. hes 26 but he scored 31 goals in 45 games last season, surely worth a one year contract?

    Its worth considering the initial outlay Peterborough shell out for these players.

    It's a drop in the ocean compared to the fees they receive in return. Didn't they make a £7 million profit on Gale, 3 months after buying him?

    He was on loan from Luton so Luton must have seen him and decided he needed to drop down to the level below the conference to get some experience.

    Looks promising. He was released by Tottenham as a kid.

    Don't think he'll be another Gayle though. Prob will though knowing Posh
