If that was in response to me

I just wondered what you thought of him, as my knowledge of him spans as much as to what i've just read on wikipedia about him.

Ah, okay then i'm not too fond of Mark Beevers tbh, think we could do better, and as Kektyke says, he's on the verge of a move to Chesterfield I think.

Keith Hill apparently enquired about him in the summer

But was put off by the asking price. It's possible he may now go back in for him, seeing as Beevers can play both at centre half and full back.

Always liked the look of him mi sen. And he fits numerous criteria...
Left back and center half, young, tarn lad, cheap (was valued in millions once) and Keith is a known admirer

But you would have thought that about McNulty and co too... and are you saying he'd be no better than our current LB?

I am not a fan of Beefer to be honest, but if Hill wants him then he will get him, I just wonder why he is close to signing for Chesterfield when we could not afford him in the summer?
Has something happened with him at Wednesday for his value to drop to Chesterfield levels?

Yeah he passed the ball to one of his team mates in training, and the ginger to55er, sent him MKDons in case he ever tried to do it in a match.
