He's not managed a promotion with an open cheque for the past three season's, be good to see what he could do with no money at Elland Road
Huddersfield owner's got more money than the rest of the league put together, can't see Clark shifting.
Re: I still think they should give the job to Dennis Wise ahh but don't forget Weeds are a big club hahahahahahah
Re: Absolutely, mate Look North last night - one of the emails they received from a Leeds fan said "Neil Warnock shouldn't get the job, he doesn't have a good record of keeping teams in the Premier League"! No....but he's got a good record of getting them there and you aren't there!
Very harsh to say Clark has 'failed' They went 40 odd games unbeaten for christ's sake... yes I know they lost the Play Off Final in between but very harsh. This open cheque book - can anyone tell me all the multi million pound players they've signed? They signed a couple 'for the future' from Falkirk this week, but in their current team they've hardly spent anything. They're currently second and above two far bigger clubs in the Sheffield teams. I think he's a very good manager.
Re: Very harsh to say Clark has 'failed' Taking to friends who are Terrier fans, they say he was the squad size of two League One teams and that his hobby is collecting players. Additionally they say he's a panic merchant for as soon as they have a setback he changes half the team.
Re: Very harsh to say Clark has 'failed' Many of the Huddersfield fans I know haven't forgiven him for playing one up front in the play off final against free scoring Posh, with Rhodes dropped to the bench. This is now his third chance of getting promotion and time is running out for him. It's noticeable he went from signing a long term contract with stability on joining the club, to his contract 'extension' being a 12 month rolling contract.
Re: Very harsh to say Clark has 'failed' Did you know they have several players on more than £10,000 per week and Dean Hoyle continues to fund the high wages, he is backed by a good marketing team that have the club working like a Premier League outfit off the field. How do l know this? an ex bird of mine was working for Dean and his wife during his card business, she was his marketing team. When he took over at Huddersfield he also wanted her working alongside him there, the company which she is now a Director of is now a major sponsor at HTFC. The amount of money he is throwing around at that club is astounding, he's had double the budget of many clubs in that division and an open cheque book for signings. Any other club in that league wouldn't have been able to keep hold of their main striker if bids of over £2 million were coming in for them.
