Seems to have been signed purely as backup, as he doesn't seem to get a sniff, even during an injury crisis. Don't get me wrong, I think Wiseman, Kennedy and Hassell have all done well out of position, but what does that say about Collins and Edwards who can't get anywhere near the team even when we have injuries.
PArt of Lee's development. Needs games to keep improving. Looked ok when played and very good against Blackpool.
Lee Collins leaves <img src="http://www.wallpaperpimper.com/wallpaper/Landscape/Tree/Fall-Leaves-1-1152x864.jpg">
#inkeefwetrust Looked decent when he's played so must be a reason. As I've said before he'll start stepping in when we sell both McNulty and Wiseman for a combined fee of £8 million in January.
I'm not surprised after all that bad press about him knocking his mrs about and making her keep a record of all her previous sexual activities.
Hopefully This deal benefits everyone. Collins need look no further for inspiration than Chris Dagnall, when he went to Bradford City. Dagnall's Barnsley career looked over before it had even begun. But he came back and has been excellent since regaining his place in the starting line up. Perhaps Collins' loan spell at Shrewsbury can do something similar for him.
Re: Hopefully He,ll be back. Decent prospect. Wish people would take a more considered view. As you say look at daggers and the way he was written off by some on here. As pep says in the chron today - trust him to do what he thinks is right .....
Re: Hopefully Interesting that the Shrewsbury manager has said he sees Collins as cover for some of their injured players as opposed to a regular, suppose no-one can expect to walk in to any side though. Hard to really judge him as he came in at a time when we were playing absolutely shocking as a team, but the fact that he hasn't had a sniff this season tells it all I suppose.
