Never understood that signing. We paid for him, played him in pre-season then sent him out on loan when he came back from injury, before releasing him again? Crazy.
This is what happens when you sign bad players. Then again, maybe he wasn't that bad a player and it was just the previous manager who couldn't get anything out of him. Like with the rest of the squad.
What point? We didn't have a small squad under keith. We've only got a small squad now because Flitcroft has shipped out all the ***** that Hill signed.
Id have Justin Lee Collins at the back afore Wiseman judging by the way he treats his bird, more likely to get stuck in.
The point that we've got no players left. And 3 months ago many would've said that ***** included Kelvin and Daggers. So maybe Collins would've been ok? And are we saying that it was Hill or flitcroft that signed the players today? I like to keep up.
I actually rated Lee Collins but neither flitcroft nor keith hill did (so who exactly did sign him then? Wouldn't be the first signing made by the board would it?) but the fact does remain that when Keith Hill was here we didn't have a small squad and had in fact used more players than the majority of this league had.
I'm not saying we had a small squad, I'm saying we had a big one and maybe it was for situations like the one we're in now.
