Must be worth a punt whether at Championship or league one.Two years younger than Luke Vardy after taking similar strides in there football career.

I agree 100%. He has a phenomonal goalscoring record for Halifax. Don't know what his contract situation is but I suspect many other clubs will be watching him and sadly I think most of them will be able to offer him more than us, especially if we're in League 1.
The sort of player we should be trying for in the summer though.

Yes he looked good last night and bagged a couple more. Unusual for your leading striker to be captain as well.

Was surprised how decent The Shay looked - very nice stand on the side opposite to the cameras. Shame it didn't have many in it. Last time I went there it was almost all shale and no terracing, plus a speedway track between you and the pitch. Happy (not) Fourth Division days :)

Signed a 2 year deal at Halifax in June 2013 according to wiki. Would imagine he'd command a fee in the region of 500k these days.
    Forget that one then.......

But they let us have Derek Bell for only £30,000 so maybe the same again :D

He would not get the service needed to score, like our strikers

its true our issue is the service to the strikers, I cant see Halifax holding out for 500K they'd want a good sell on clause though I'm sure vardy sale to Fleetwood hard a decent clause in so they got a fair chunk of the Leicester transfer. He is definitely someone we should be taking a punt on given how many non league strikers have progressed in recent years. either him or Andre gray but that would be luton would be less likely to sell. still id rather us get a decent centre half and left back first and keep cog regardless of division we're in

No his first professional club was Halifax and he was their best player when we signed him for our Fourth Division promotion season. He only played the one season for us then went to Lincoln. He was their record signing at the time - all of £34,000

I'm working with his brother an I'm afraid there's lots of clubs watching him.
