    Next season

What on earth are they gonna do next season when all these players go back to their parent clubs?! They must have none of their own players left now</p>

Unless they keep hold of some of these and sign them permanently or do the same next season with the loans, they might find themselves in a bit of trouble

    RE: Next season

Joe Royle as let him go out on loan because he knows he's no chance of getting him signed to a new contract next season. I'd say Blackpool stand a good chance of Lee Hughes on a free transfer, which is very good business.

Well it's not the same problem though is it, I mean we have Hammill, Andranik and Mifsud on loan, they have, what 10+ on loan I bet? Much bigger problem...they'll have to bring in a lot more faces than we'll need

worth keeping an eye on Blackpool's team selections......

just incase they miscalculate and play more than 5 at a time, could lead to a points deduction, every little helps.
And as for Hughes, thats great news, hopefully Blackpool will take him permanently, less chance the scumbag will come to us.

    RE: Next season

I'm a bit baffled - even if he will leave, let him get Oldham in play-offs and possibly promoted. Would we let Muller go on loan just because he might not sign on year after?

Royle probably thinks having a player in the squad who won't stick around next season will have a negative impact on the squad, no matter how many goals he's scored. Over two seasons with them he's scored nearly a goal every other game and is easily their leading scorer this season. Baffling to me as well loaning him to one of their most hated rivals.

where do you get this stuff from?

how many Oldham fans do you reckon see Blackpool as one of their most hated rivals?
They don't even register. Oldham's rivalry is much more the Manchester clubs, whereas Blackpool's is with Preston and Burnley.
