Because he had pressure put on him to change the system, to sign hammock and to totally abandoned his management style. As soon as he did what 10,000 people in the stands unanimously agreed we should have been doing we started winning
But he didn't nearly get us relegated. What you've described above actually sounds like a good managerial quality... Recognising when you're wrong and changing your mind is a good thing. A bad manager would have stuck with it until the bitter end. Can argue with how quickly he should have done it, but at least he did.
