Good,.....never liked him, Cryne saved his job here by signing Hammill..had some good jobs but Christ knows how, he done nothing, got Bristol city job on back of his daddy for me and had decent budget but ultimately failed
He'll pop up somewhere else soon, his whole family are in football one way or another, scouts etc, so he'll have connections........Forest Green, they seem to be spiralling downwards and churning through managers....
Still be getting called a promising young manager in 10 years, no doubt he’ll be getting on every podcast going in the next few months to keep his name in the shop window
Classic example of someone who has made a lot of money from being a very ordinary manager who never achieved anything.
And he will still be 100% convinced it’s everybody but him. Some dafft buggers will still be daft enough to give him another job!
Funny that some people don’t see what an unmitigated disaster he was here. Complete ******** merchant getting found out quicker and quicker. bomb alley indeed.
No mention of him being sacked. https://www.fleetwoodtownfc.com/news/2023/december/statement-lee-johnson/ Losing to Bolton isn't a sackable offence. They are one of the best sides in the league. It's probably mutual with LJ being unhappy at the January transfer budget.
So, a very voluble mob on here who believe the 2016 Wembley triumphs were nowt to do with Lee Johnson. And an equally voluble mob on here believe they were nowt to do with Hecky! You couldn't make it up!
He has done OK there. Their last 4 league games they have lost to Peterborough by one goal, lost to Bolton and drawn to Pompey and Carlisle. Couldn't have had a much tougher run.
He joined after the window had shut, so surely he would have been aware of the January budget? They haven't won since early-ish November and doing the usual of playing square pegs in round holes. Does seem very early to get rid though, bit weird. There's a lot of Hibs fans lapping it up on Twitter...
