12 x 5 foot nowt central midfield players and no left back.

Patrick wants sectioning if he lets him loose with a decent budget.

Brek Shea plus Hourihane and Davies as part exchange to make up the £8m fee.

But would he be let loose as he is head coach and Ben Mansford is head of recruitment.

If he is making the signings, he is hardly doing that bad. Marley Watkins has been dearly missed in recent weeks, Roberts and Mawson on their day are immense and will only get more consistent. Wabara has done a solid job. Harry White looks like a very promising talent. Harris in flashes has looked very dangerous.

Not to mention, Johnson was being praised when we got Ryan Williams and when he gets a run of games he could be one of the missing pieces in the jigsaw and everyone was also happy when we got Townsend permanently after a brilliant performance at Scunny back in August.

There have been bad signings too like Wilkinson, Rothwell and you could also say Crowley but that was to be expected.

The problem is the over reliance on Hourihane, Watkins and I imagine Williams was a big part of our plans too, I can't understand those that say Watkins still needs to prove himself. He's played well in about 70/80% of his games and has been key in our most impressive wins/performances (e.g Millwall, Everton, Swindon, Scunny in JPT). When him and Hourihane return along with one or two experienced heads joining we should start heading in the right direction again. The players just need a confidence boost at the moment, can't see it coming tonight though.
