The worst one-on-one striker we've had since Stuart Rimmer's cameo.

Still playing according to Wikipedia, didn't realise he was with us for 2 years. I thought he was in the Liam Dickinson bracket signed realised he was shi7e and moved on after 6 months.

abit harsh boys....not the best I agree but we've had a lot worse. Remember him getting a couple of goals vs West Brom on the opening day, one season, if my memory serves me....bit of pace, 2 footed would be as good if not better than some that we have now...IMO

He was brought in to replace Hignett in a way. Remember first game of season post-Wembley heartache and him scoring the winner 1-0 v Norwich? Regan sent off on debut and Kay taken off after 17 mins as was out of his depth in midfield (my memory boggles!)

I also remember sitting in North Stand!

Terribly harsh. Lee Jones was a quality striker. Reminiscent of Nardiello - pace to burn, an eye for goal but injury-prone and not hungry enough. It's a shame when those blessed with natural ability either for mental or physical reasons are unable to put it to use.

I seem to recall whoever it was he signed for after us (Wrexham?) won 5-0 on his debut and he scored them all! Could be mistaken on that though.

Forgettable? Well, you have forgotten he was actually half decent.

Always thought he was decent, just a bit soft, injury-prone.
He got Higgy's 8 shirt, and I remember thinking we had a player after that debut goal. But like other players down the years, he kept disappearing, and never made the impression. Id take half of Jones now, over blo0dy Dagnall
