Someone on the Huddersfield Town forum said yesterday he's signing for us next week. I said i'd not bother mentioning it on here because it sounds like a stupid rumour. However thinking it over it's not as daft as I first thought. Firstly they will have Rhodes, Scarnell and maybe McCormick being brought in so he will be down the pecking order. Secondly the fan said he would be signing next week which makes sense because this week we are in Spain. Thirdly it's known we are after a target man but Hill didn't sound too positive about wanting Frutas last time he spoke of him.
What's the view from the Gayfarm as to whether Novak is any good? Have heard his name mentioned a few times but don't know much about him to be honest.
Not great on Football Manager. However, Mbaye Niang on a free transfer from Lyon is amazing. Unfortunately, he is only computer generated.
I hope so, if only for the song that Huddersfield fans sang - something like "Our carpet's filthy, because we've got Novak"
When he signed it was all "why are we signing a player from Gateshead for? but he won them over. Scored plenty of goals for them last season where in a different team he would have stood out instead of being overshadowed by Rhodes.
Just spoke to a Town fan and he was horrified. Very impressed with the number of times he came on as a sub and changed the game for them. They still aren't sure that Rhodes is staying with them. A very strong rumour that Reading are after him, and if that's the case, can't see Novak leaving.
That's it many of his 39 games last season were sub appearances and he still got 13 goals despite not being an out and out striker. Now that Scarnell has come in and they are being linked to a number of others, the thought of him ending up being surplus to requirements wouldn't be a shock.
Cant wait til James reads this, a striker surplus to requirements at Huddersfield, he'll be delighted. DNA.
13 goals in League One. Ex Gateshead. Not especially quick or technical, but runs about a fair bit. Sounds like a KK type of player. Endeavour.
