playing in a charity match scored with this penalty kick - its quite a good one http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38220790
Proper gamesmanship that! I bet if that were a league game he would have been booked for ungentlemanly conduct, if such an offence still exists in modern football. Outrageous skill though. I remember when he had derisory things to say about us, at the time of our play off win against them.
I still have nightmares about that time in Cardiff in 2006 when he trundled through our defence in extra time, but poked it wide. That was the moment when I knew we were going up.
I love a bit of gamesmanship but not when it's a penalty. If one of our players scored a penalty doing that i'd still want them fined, nevermind if they missed
If you watch it back, even in slow motion, I still can't work out how Anthony Kay didn't take his legs out for a penalty. He seemed to go straight through his legs without touching them. It was pure luck. He could try that tackle again 100 times and bring him down every time.
It wouldn't be allowed in a proper match because you have to wait for the refs whistle to take a pen.
