Sorry, but that will turn the pressure up at Oakwell, Redfearns done more than enough to prove he's worth a shout. Time to man up Danny, no more softly softly, time to battle, geeorfckingabart, smash some crockery etc.
It's a romantic idea but not one I'd expect to work. I'm not thinking getting rid of Wilson would be a good idea at all either, we'd only end up with one of these ten a penny managers who's happy to get a years' contract so it's no skin of his nose when he inevitably does crap.
I've said this before on here but I'll say it again. Redders is a legend and I want him to remain so. If he was to ever become the manager of BFC there would come a point where results went bad and I couldn't be in the ground when he started getting booed, slagged off and ultimately sacked. I'd love to see him here in a coaching capacity but I hope I never see him here as first team manager.
Galls me to say this, but it's a bit easier now we're not in the same div as Leeds, but I've been really chuffed for Redders with the results they've had under his care and it beggars belief that the clown who owns the club wouldn't give him a proper crack. He's been there years in various roles and clearly has summat about him where the club is concerned. And for this, I hope and pray with all my heart that it goes tits up for this new fella - show the Italian pillock in charge up for what he is.
Redders will not be leaving, caretaker managers job at Leeds is the most secure job in football. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
