There has just been a snippit of and interview on look north with a MP that happened a couple of weeks ago.</p> In the old interview the MP was against the sale of the airport,because she said that it would mean almost certain expansion and Leeds doesn't have the road/rail links to cope,like maybe Manchester has.</p> In the new clip, (now the airprot IS to be sold) , they were asking people what the money should be spent on and they used the same clip but edited it so it sounded like the MP was saying that they should spend it on road/rail links like maybe Manchester has.......twistin fekers eh.. </p>
Really? I liked the bit that said Exeter was sold for £60m whilst City of London airport went for £750m and then they said "Leeds would fetch somewhere between those 2" - thanks for narrowing it down then!
