Yeah. Guaranteed they'll lose their next couple and mug us at Oakwell in a couple of weeks.

doubt it we have a good record against them and I expect it will continue - just a shame they have just about enough points to be safe - one more win will definitely do it for them - oh I could dream of the 3 to go down being Millwall Birmingham and Leeds

Realistically I think its still Millwall Yeovil and us - I think we need to finish above Birmingham - Charlton will scramble clear

I don't know, if we can beat Brighton we could be back level. Need to beat Charlton at their place

The longer this financial shambles continues the better for us. I hope they will carry on in free fall well past our game with them.

Leeds will be just about safe already. The bigger story is they was uproar when Chris Powell got sacked but they have kept 5 clean sheets in their last 7 matches under the new manager I think. Think that justified the decision to get rid.

Being paid only £12.5K a week rather than £25K must really be causing the players sleepless nights and financial worries.

relatively speaking, it probably will cause them financial troubles with their higher morgages and likely outstanding payments on beamers and mercs.

all of that and they're sh*t at their jobs. lifes sh*t int it?

Only because many of them have probably taken on financial commitments which account for a large percentage of their incomes. Which is a pretty stupid thing to do with such a short career path. If I was earning that kind of money but only for 10 years or so then I'd be looking to live on very much less than 50% of it. Does nobody SAVE these days?

I wouldn't have thought many young footballers would have a mortgage, or own the cars. They'll be renting and leasing.

And what a great motto it is in this context. A context in which hugely overpaid footballers can spend their obscene salaries now and then file for bankruptcy in their 40's.

According to McDermott last night, none of the players were paid in the end. GFH didn't find the funds. Think it was just non playing staff who received their wages.
