As though we’d sell our top scorer to a local rival in the same league. Hold on, we have form for this....
I'd be more amazed if they, and many others, weren't interested in him .but being interested in him and making a bid for him are two totally different things
Was it really though? We were in the strongest position we’d been in for years in the championship with also the best team we had in years. Where were Weds in the league? They were close to us in the league, they’re our bitter local rivals and we sold Winnall for next to nothing. This time we’d just been promoted from the division below whereas Wigan had finished 12 points above relegation and were spending handsomely last summer so them actually being in a relegation battle is a criminal underachievement on their part. Im not sure how anyone can compare us selling Winnall to Weds and Moore to Wigan. The problem with Moore wasn’t that we sold him it was that we didn’t replace him adequately with the money we got for him.
I hope you are right but Potts last year is not a great precedent. For all the discussion and differing views we’ll know the intentions of the board by the end of the month.
Its not just about his goals tho is it (i think you know that really), this team is weaker without him upfront
IMO selling Winnall was a bonkers decision. However, selling a Moore was .......oh yes .....a bonkers decision. But, in this Board we trust. Hahahahahahahahahaha. Let’s have chat at season end.
Waiting for Nudger to come along with his: THERE are 3 things that a SUPER TYKES fan will not accept. 1. Selling to a rival club such as Leeds or Wednesday I dozed off after point 1, can't remember the rest.
