http://www.leedsunited.com/news/20111229/away-ticket-availability-update_2247585_2559978 Over 3000 sold already for a game at Palace on the 14th Jan is good going though. Sold 1000s for Arsenal on the Monday night as well. Some of them must have spent £100s latley, they took 4000 to Derby on boxing day. Would be good if they could pay on the day in the (north) bit of the west, but I don't think it will be allowed. Hopefully our fans will be able to pay on the turnstille or at least buy at the box office upto 1pm.
Yeah it would be nice if they could pay on the day. Like them or not it can't be denied that they are a massive club. There fans will have spent a crazy amount of money lately to be travelling in their thousands everywhere.
That would be nice although I hope we can get a few more. Hopefully there will be a decent atmosphere.
Surrounded by Leeds fans here at work. Non are going. Saying they've only sold just over 3,000 for Saturday. Sounds like we'll be lucky if we get a 15,000 gate.
Sold about 5000 according to woman in ticket office an hour ago She was telling a group a group of young lads in front of me. Also said Donny tickets going well but didn't mention numbers
I thought this would be a banker for a sell out, as in, packed to the rafters. Leeds on new year's eve... seemed brilliant. But I think we may struggle to beat about 18,000, even with nearly 6000 leeds. I know its an expensive time of the year but this season, this is one of the only truly attractive home games I think.
I always thought key to Xmas crowds would be results.. shame really.. had results been better, coupled with the reduced admission prices we could've seen some decent crowds.
Re: I always thought key to Xmas crowds would be results.. shame really.. Not helped with us losing our last 3 and Leeds losing the last 2 games as well. If only we could have finished Ipswich off on sky, would have been so good to be 7th at the end on national tv. Might have given us more confidence in the last 2 games as well!!
They must of sold well over 5000, even over 5500 as the link says only a limited number remain out of 6000.
I'm a Leeds fan (only signed up to PM an old mate about a meet up on Sat) and I'm led to believe we've sold 5,950+
I went down to Oakwell yesterday for my Swansea and Donny tickets And there was a lot of people buying for the Leeds game, think we'll have a decent gate, albeit nowhere near that of last season. 16,000 maybe.
