Leeds Press Conference - Changing Name to Leeds City

Following releageation of this massive club to the third tier of English Football a press conference is expected later today where Bates is expected to announce that Leeds will change their name from Leeds Utd to Leeds City...........

When questioned about the change Ken Bates said that it was all part of his master plan for Leeds and that this move showed his ambitions for the club

Yes they were, but they went bust and restarted the club/company with a new name.

I heard on the radio this morning that they may go into admin in the next week, so 10 points off already next season!

Boston are thinking about doing the same thing but are waiting to see if they can stay in the League before deciding whether to take the points deduction this season or next. A bit naughty but there you go.
