Don't think there will be over 20,000 like last season but a lot of the area's showing limited availability, If they're given tickets on the West Stand too it should be over 18,000. The Don will then jump with joy claiming the expensive ticketing policy works because this one game will drag in that much money.

Be good to know how many away tickets have been sold so far. Can't see anything on their official website.

If he is talking purely about the bottom line then he will have a point. Unfortunately the home fans have failed to respond to any reductions/offers.

No surprise there. Not many of their fans will care to admit it, but we are a big game to look forward to, to them.......

    1) Yorkshire derby.
    2) Bad recent form against us they want to put right as they see themselves as a massive club.
    3) Chance to have 7,000 tickets.
    4) Easy/quick to get to.
    5) Decent stand to sit in.

    Not to be pedantic but

When you hover over certain areas of the stadium on that map, it has a code for the area, eg the East Stand Upper is EU, and the West Lower is WL, so why is the Ponty End or CK Beckett stand OR, is it me or does that stand for ORA, bit out of date that.

This deffinate, I haven't seen anything anywhere? Hope they do fill the north stand and then if they have a win on boxing day it might mean a late surge and more will be sold in the north side of the west.

Because that is what it was called when we had the ticketing system installed and you probably can't change it!

I had a link - lost it now though - that explained the way they allocate and sell their away tickets. It made for interesting reading, and emphasised just what a massive (genuine, not deedar style) club they are.
Basically, they use a card membership and its practically 80% ST holders that get their tickets. And, no matter the allocation - it claimed - they usually sell out and could take many more to every away game if they were given the tickets.
The link even mentioned 'Barnsley away' as the club that they work with the best, who go out of their way to accomodate as many visitors as possible.
By reading it, I would guarantee that the North will be full come New Years Eve. Duno bout the West though, maybe

Aye but they brought under around 3,000 the season they were relegated from the Championship and McIndoe scored, l was surprised they brought so little that day. I don't mind Leeds has a rival, l work in Leeds and its a team l can put up with. With Leeds you don't get a Gypsy trying to call you a Dingle!

To be fair it was more like 3500-4000 that day, not under 3000.
