Training ground bust up with Warnock

simply do not believe anything Ritchie and Shepherd say in the media anymore, sorry. I reckon Morgan would come, the Blunts would let him, and we're being fed a load of ********.

3rd choice not even on the bench?

    Davis
    Jakielka
    Short
    Lucketti
    Sommeil
    Bromby

Morgan hasnt started a league game since 16th September. where do you get your 3rd choice from? apart from owt, Chris has let it be known he'd come. no consistency in anything Ritchie and Shepherd say when it comes to transfers.

    For f.-c.k sake

some people just love moaning about people moaning about people moaning about people moaning.

we're averaging 2 goals conceded a game, our defence looks leaky as fck, our 4 main strikers combined have scored 1 goal in the last 9 games but we've beaten Leeds so we shouldnt need to sign anyone even though we've been told we're actively looking for experience, no we're looking at younger players, no we need someone to boss them, no we're alreight again.

    waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank.

Who as said anything about been alright because we beat Leeds??? How do you know AR is not looking for players!!?? He's took a couple on trial, and no doubt is looking at the transfer market... What will Morgan bring to the team?? Yes, he plays with his heart but is that enough!?

    No, please answer.

My view (opinion) is that he plays with his heart for the club but many times in the past where this has gone against him and lead to errors. Also big punts up field. Like I say, my view and what ever yours is I will appreciate that.

    As previously posted

our main weakness at the back is Reid and his propensity to get turned, switch off temporarily and his inability to match some of the more robust strikers in the air. all that may come with experience, but in the meantime, we're shipping goals and losing games we shouldnt. Im surprised at how many of the Championship clubs have 2 big strikers, and for that reason I think Kay needs someone alongside him who can combat the aerial stuff, and organise at set pieces.

Im also a big believer in having experience in the dressing room, and winning experience at that. Morgan has just done a season as captain of a promotion winning side. and we know what we're going to get with him, fair do's his distribution might not be all that, but in a battle, which make no mistake we're going to be battling for survival for the rest of the season, I'd have him before Reid any day.

word on the street is he'd come.

the fact that he has played the 3rd most games

out of all those center backs after davis and jags makes me think he is 3rd choice, lucketti and short have yet to play bromby is not a center back nor is sommeil!

no consistency? what exactly do you want them to say?

not just the defence to blame

we have 5 attacking players and at time we need to learn to balance things out i.e take away one attacking midfielder for a more defensive one!?!?!

Reid to me gets alot of unfair stick and i personally think he is a good defender, i agree we need more experience, hence lucketti but he bombed us out AR has said he is looking for experience but i have always maintained that quality comes first and experience is just a added bonus!

Craig Short would be good if you ask me or is he too old??

Plus as for the word on the street of course he is going to say he would come, a barnsley fan asks him that question what is he going to say?

Reid v Leeds - last minute hack away

that very nearly led to an equaliser.

typical of him imho - he shows some quality but individual errors get more readily punished in this league, as we have seen to our detriment. Kay seems to be cutting them out.

    Agree.

Other than Togwell, we are lacking the 'bite' in midfield. Fair enough that is what Togwell is there to do but on Saturday I was frustrated the amount of times we didn't get stuck in.

at home i think it is ok to go at teams

but sometime away from home we do need that extra protection infront of the back 4 and i know togwell is there to do that but you cannot rely on one player to make up all the ground!!!

Saturday was a big game, not only a 6 pointer but a local derby. My concern is that when we come up against a stronger, physical team, we don't have the men to match them. We can play good football, but we need a couple more players who will get there foot stuck in.
Saturday didn't look like a Derby to me, the battle wasn't there from either team.

Defend as a team, but individual mistakes have cost goals

how many times has Ritchie said "poor Reidy, he's distraught in the dressing room"? How many times has Reid had to thank Colgan for pulling off a save cos he got caught out? there are 3 examples of goals we've conceded in that last 3 games where Reid hasnt done his job, several more before that. he cost us a point against Coventry, was sloppy against Derby and left Blake with all the time in the world to slot on Saturday.

Im singling one player out cos he's at fault for goals. Repeatedly. And will continue to do so. If the team needs to score 3 goals in order to win games we're going down. FACT.

    Morgan in, Reid out.
