I think Leeds will come up automatically

They would have done this year if it wasn't for the 15 point penalty. A lot depends on their finances though I suppose - can they still spend lots of money while spending another year in League One though?

Not sure how Donny will do. They will no doubt start well with the promotion feelgood factor but there's a huge gap between League One and the Championship.

How much money will Donny have to splash? £2m? £5m? £10m? It'll make all the difference.

Well Leeds have already bought one decent player

That Robinson from Swansea is going there. Couldn't believe it when I heard it, be he's gutted now!

'They would have done this year if it wasn't for the 15 point penalty'

I can't see as that argument washes for 3 reasons:

    1) If they had started level, they would not have necessarily adopted the same siege mentality that saw them claw the points back so quickly.

2)More importantly, if they hadn't cheated and broken insolvency rules they wouldn't have been deducted 15 points.

    3) There is a school of thought that states the FL actually bottled making the correct decision and should really have demoted them - aka Boston - into Div 2 or possibly out of the FL.

Isnt that what everyone said about Forest

And it took them 3 goes to get out of that league - Leeds arent certainties for promotion next season thats for sure.

Dont forget there is another big side in Leicester who will be pushing hard. Though I would expect Scnuthorpe and Southend to be in the mix as well as annoyingly the MK Franchise

No that good odds really. Leeds will be favourites to come up and Donny will be one of the favourites to come down. Still worth a bet though because I reckon both will happen. MacAllister will have them at the top next season and as for Donny. Just heard Ryan on SSN saying how they might bring in a couple of players but they will be pretty much going with what they have got. "We think they will be good enough". Hehe. Course they will.
